Seeing old friends in London

After a fast trip to Dublin, we had an even shorter stay in London. But it was still a lot of fun.

We grabbed the airlink early from Dublin and made our way to the airport and after an hour and fifteen minute flight we found ourselves at Stansted airport, a tiny little airport an hour outside of London.

We took the easyBus to central London and soon found ourselves at our bar, I mean hostel, at Elephant & Castle (we stayed in a bar).

Later that night we met up with Shak, whom you might remember from a post from two years ago in Thakhek, Laos. Nice to see you again, Shak!

Almost enough for a Wild Hogs Reunion Tour

The next day we hit up the British Museum, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace & Gardens, Big Ben and Parliament and the Tate Museum. ALL on foot.

The night before we had walked the Tower Bridge.

Since we had a flight the next morning at 6am, we grabbed an easyBus back to Stansted and prepared to sleep in the airport for the night. We were definitely looking forward to some rest and relaxation at our next destination, Romania.
