After some planning over the winter months, we've decided to sell our old bikes and focus on a new style of riding...
After discussing what we wanted to do with our riding, and agreeing on a mutual desire to explore the outdoors more, we purchased two brand new 2016 Yamaha XT250's. These bikes are perfect dual sports that will allow us to go wherever we need to, while still being light weight and short enough for Johanna to handle easily.
At one point we had 5 bikes at home. Luckily it didn't take us long to sell our TU250's.
Since getting the bikes we've been trying to rack up miles to break the engines in, taking rides with friends as much as we can.
Last weekend the weather warmed up enough and we rode out to Kitsap Memorial Park to do our first motorcycle camping trip. All our gear worked out great, and we can't wait to get a lot more use out of it.
