Kuala Lumpur - Part 1

We spend a lot of time exploring Kuala Lumpur.

After leaving Penang, we spent a disappointing night in the Cameron Highlands, and then made our way to the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.  This is a fantastic city with tons of skyscrapers and modern amenities.  We spent the first several days just exploring the streets and seeing all the great architecture, including the KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers.

Later we found ourselves lost in Chinatown...

Over the next few days we explored further into the city, and enjoyed numerous local restaurants, and Red Lychee Liquor!

So delicious.  And only about $3.25.

We also got to enjoy free dinner on the roof of our guest house.  It had a great view of the city, as long as you didn't mind all the cats.

We'll have another update soon with part 2 of Kuala Lumpur!
