GUINNESS! I mean, Dublin!

Day 90 of our trip, and we had spent all 90 in the “Schengen Zone” which meant we had to leave or risk being deported and never being allowed back. This also meant that there were only a few countries in Europe that we could now visit, among them, Ireland and the UK.

We arrived in Dublin on September 1st. After passing through customs and getting our bags in an astonishing 30 minutes we grabbed the airlink to town and soon found ourselves wandering through the Temple Bar district. We soon found our hostel, dropped off our bags and set out to explore. Once again we only had a couple days in town, so we had a lot to fit in.

We visited the Dublin Castle,

ate meat pies,

went on a bar crawl, and of course, visited the Guinness Storehouse.

We were very excited to get our certificates for pouring the perfect Guinness Draft.

The factory tour was great, and we got to see seven floors of Guinness making magic:

It was over far too soon and we hope to come back some day.

Goodbye, Dublin!
